Transport Assistance

- NDIS Funded
- Home Care Package
- Private Pay
Losing the ability to drive is one of the sharpest losses of independence people experience. Appointments get missed. Shopping becomes someone else’s favour. Social plans quietly stop.
Transport assistance is the service that puts that back. Not just a lift — a support worker who knows you, arrives when they said they would, and helps with whatever the trip actually involves.
What a typical trip looks like
We agree the pick-up time in advance and build in enough margin that you are not rushed. The driver helps with the vehicle, mobility aids and anything you are carrying. If you have asked for accompaniment, they stay with you.
Appointments run late. When they do, we wait — you will not be left standing outside a medical centre because a booking window closed.
Common questions
Transport Assistance — FAQs
How far will you travel?
We cover Bunbury and the surrounding Southwest WA communities, including longer runs of roughly 120 km for medical appointments. If you are outside that, call us — we would rather tell you honestly than let you down.
Does the support worker stay with me at the appointment?
They can. Some people want to be dropped off and collected; others want someone with them to take notes or help communicate. Both are fine — just tell us which you prefer when we book it.
Is transport covered by the NDIS?
Often, yes, but it depends on how your plan is written. Send us your plan details and we will tell you what we think is claimable before you commit to anything.
